When my youngest daughter went off to art school some years ago, I wished I could go too. I drooled over the studios, and the messy, creative spaces filled with paint and metal and clay and all kinds of tools, brushes, rags, buckets, paper, easels, and benches. Though I had spent many years working as a graphic designer, this was up front get your hands dirty kind of art. I imagined the wonderful pieces that would come forth from such a place.

I dug up and brushed off all the old artistic bones that were buried since high school.
And I am still digging, still exploring, still reaching.

I love to paint in my cozy little space in my home in New Hampshire. Living in a very scenic, mountainous area is a joy and an inspiration for a lot of work.

I enjoy all kinds of creative pursuits, from creating fun and useful things from vintage and flea market finds, to capturing a flowing river on canvas.

New England and the changing seasons here offer so much inspiration for creating. I love where I've been planted, and though I love to travel, I can't imagine living anywhere else!
